Science to Plate Dietetics by Sunita Fourie RD offers a personalized approach to nutrition and dietetics, focusing on evidence-based practices to promote overall health and wellness. Our aim is to provide you with the knowledge and support you need to achieve your nutritional goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

My Story
As a registered dietitian passionate about helping individuals achieve their health goals, I founded Science to Plate Dietetics with the vision of offering comprehensive and personalized nutrition services. My approach is centred around empowering individuals to make informed choices about their health through evidence-based practices and practical guidance.

I am passionate about practising evidence-based nutrition not only in disease states but in everyday living too.
I studied at and completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics at the North-West University – Potchefstroom campus in 2015. I completed my community service at the Klerksdorp- Tshepong Hospital Complex in the North-West in 2016. My Master of Science degree in Dietetics was completed in November 2023. In August 2023 I started my career in private practice.

I have an interest in working in paediatrics, where I did so for two years at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital. However, working in private, I developed a love for the nutritional care of critically ill adult patients.
Future areas of learning include gut health and the dietary management thereof and PCOS and Endometriosis.

I strive to continue to grow in my profession and treat all patients to the best of my ability. I am also well equipped in sports nutrition having completed my Master’s degree.
I hope to encourage health and well-being as it is a success that many forget to celebrate.
